To ease the transition and maintain a consistent quality of life, I’ve created a comprehensive self-checklist to evaluate my living environment. This list helps ensure that every new space meets my essential needs for comfort, functionality, and wellbeing. I’ve found that maintaining these standards directly impacts my productivity, focus, and emotional balance.

Living Requirements

Stable water pressure and consistent hot/cold temperature in the bathroom faucet/shower
Reliable Wi-Fi with speeds of 500 Mbps
Soft lighting for nighttime use
Remote or voice-controlled appliances if possible (e.g., lights, curtains)
A large-capacity electric kettle that can cover at least 2 liters of water per day
Designated parking space
Independent smart speaker for quickly setting alarms
Weekly pillowcase changes; monthly duvet cover changes
Frying pan, stew pot, and wok spatula
Steaming rack
